About Me

Hello, I am Collin Longoria and I am an active student at the DigiPen Institute of Technology in Redmond, Washington in the BS in Computer Science in Real-Time Interactive Simulation program. At said institution, I have gained experience in several programming languages such as C, C++, and GLSL, as well as fundamental concepts such as Algorithms, Memory, Data Structures, and Graphics programming.

Prior to DigiPen, I worked as a solo developer on several games (some of which participated in game jams) and received over 1300 page views and 300+ downloads.

At DigiPen I have also participated in three group projects. Two of these were semester long projects creating a 2D game using school-provided engines and graphics libraries. In these two projects, I worked as a general programmer, dabbling in concepts such as Gameplay and AI behavior programming. The third was also a 2D game, but in addition tasked us with creating a 2D custom engine using OpenGL. On this team, I served as Producer of the team, as well as the lead Graphics, Gameplay, and Tools programmer. For this project, I created the renderer of the engine, as well as several engine and debugging tools to serve the team during development.

"[Collin] consistently over-delivered. His dedication to his work is truly commendable; He approaches every task with an unparalleled passion and commitment to excellence."

- Julia Moraes

"Collin was the tech lead for our team, and put 110% of his effort into the project. He was a fast worker... his code was effective, concise, and clear, and he was the glue of the team."
